Paulding County Wrestling is going into its fourth season of having a girls team and the third year of the State Championships being hosted by the GHSA. PCHS is looking to improve on numerous acolades over the years:

Both wrestling teams will have tryouts next week on Monday and Tuesday, 11/2 & 11/3, from 4pm-6:30pm in room 222a. If you are interested in participating this year make sure you have a physical on file and all RankOne forms completed. The Patriots traveled to Chapel Hill this past weekend to compete in the 1st annual Panther Pride Duals. The Patriots were placed into a pool with 4 other teams and the success in that pool would determine who they match up with in the other pool. PC started the tournament off against Villa Rica winning
The Patriots travelled to North Atlanta High School to compete in the Warrior Classic. This was the first individual style tournament of the season for the Patriots where they would progress through their own brackets in an attempt to see who was the best in their weight class. The Patriots traveled to Chapel Hill last night to compete against Chapel Hill, Temple, and Cedartown. They finished the evening 2-1 but not without some big individual wins from Captains Savannah Lackey and Branson Bennett. The Patriots started off the night wrestling South Cobb winning 10 of the 14 bouts with 6 first period falls, beating South Cobb with a score of 60-24.
